In a book that was created because of a telepathic experience in my opinion was written by Ernest Norman. He claims he was contacted by
a being that lives underground on Mars. His name is claimed to be
Nur El. Ernest Norman states that he was contacted by this Nur-El and he stated that the Martians receive their water from the pole areas of Mars. "The Truth About Mars Book":

And I find it interesting that in an article from ESA that they claim through the Mars Express Orbiter that they found evidence of water indeed at the South Pole of Mars!
And in Ernest Norman's book in communicating with this Martian leader
"Nur-El" that Ernest stated that indeed they (the martians) obtain their water from the poles. In page 32 of the book "The Truth About Mars"
