Which to me, must either be a Martian or Martians caught in a storm most humans if any ever experience! I think what they are saying is that the slaughter of it all is almost unimaginable.
But some lived in the ancient of days to tell about it, when they lost their atmosphere that ended life as they knew it. At least in my humble opinion that is what the memorial sculptures is based on that Curiosity takes photos of, is of their sculptured memorials to an atmosphere and the surface of Mars that was ruined by a cataclysm that earth has no elaborate recordings of in it's history! Martians must have much superior writings of their past than we do. They really must. Because I think the've shown it in their decimation sculptures.

Crazy good batches of photos with-in two days of Nasa uploading them to the Curiosity database. A must see to check as many as you can. Because i am amazed at how many great ones there are in these batches. Very interesting memorial sculptures indeed. To me, at least I think they area oriented towards "memorial", such as dedications to sea creatures that didn't make it when mars lost it's atmosphere in ancient times! I must of been completely devastating to them!
